It is one of the most effective ways to contribute to animal welfare without worrying about a housing space, office or college schedules, convincing family members to get a pet, or being present for the pet 24*7. According to Wildlife Protection Laws, 1972, it is illegal to have urban wildlife and wildlife as pet animals. Feeding Wild Macaques: More Harm Than Good

For many years now, we have seen how human beings don’t have the knowledge or idea of what food is right for animals and what should be avoided at all costs. Similarly, we observe how Macaques in India are also not fed the right food. Our act of kindness towards these primates can cause major changes in the forest food web and the ecosystem. Interestingly, we also observe how macaques are flexible with their food habits, and how they adjust their behaviour according to food availability.
