Join hands to save the stray animals of Bengaluru City

The Coronavirus pandemic has disturbed our routine, isn’t it? We are locked down, we cannot go for brunch, meet our friends or carry out any outdoor activities.
While most of us are privileged enough and are enjoying some quality family time, there are others for whom this lockdown is proving to be life threatening. Yes, we are talking about the animals that live on the streets.
Most of the species of the Urban Wildlife are not dependent on humans, but domestic stray animals, especially dogs depend on day to day human activities for food. They wait for any leftovers they could get from cafes, restaurants, tea stalls, street vendors, etc. Since all the commercial places are shut down, these animals are subjected to severe dehydration and hunger.
PfA Bangalore has taken up an initiative to feed our furry friends. As a part of this project, we procure various types of food and water and feed animals during the day and night. In less than a week alone, we have been successful in feeding over 1200 dogs from various areas of South Bangalore. Our aim is to expand our operations to reach more areas of the city by hiring 3 people and cater to the logistical costs involved in the process.

To sustain our project till the end of June 2020, the operational cost is an estimated Rs.8000 a day.
To ensure our mission to save stray animals from starvation and dehydration, we need your help! Our NGO has solely survived on the goodwill of the donors who believe in our work and we strongly urge you to donate!
